The room here was spacious and came with shower facilities, a hairdryer, and bath sheets, making for a comfortable stay.

Stayed in well-appointed studio with kitchenette, 4 twin beds, for instance. A microwave, an electric kettle, and refrigerators where a huge plus.

Although everything was very good, some of the staff were relaxed.

I had a wonderful stay at Greymouth Motel during my road trip to Christchurch. the location is fantastic, situated in a lovely area that's easy to find along a popular route. It’s conveniently close to supermarkets, restaurants, the city center, and the beach, with a great restaurant recommended by the owner. I also enjoyed a delicious variety of breakfast options. Plus, the early check-in and late check-out made my stay even more enjoyable! 😊❤️.

The bed was super comfortable, rooms were warm and cozy, and the motel owner was incredibly accommodating. The room had all the amenities we needed, from an ironing board to a hairdryer. The hand/body wash provided was absolutely lovely. Our family room was sparkling clean and we had a great Christmas dinner there. Sonja, the staff member, was always there to answer our questions and she went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The overall location was fairly convenient and the well-kept gardens added a nice touch. The motel served as the perfect base for exploring all the nearby tourist attractions. The staff even went out of their way to celebrate my 65th birthday, making it a truly unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this motel and the beautiful area it is located in.

great value for money, comfortable beds, clean and quiet unit. Friendly welcome and farewell. Convenient location. Enjoyed kids playground and proximity to town. Ended up visiting nearby attractions based on screen at reception. Scenic drive along Great Coast Road was a bonus. Will definitely stay here again when in Greymouth.

Stove top cooker/oven a bit high.

Little old crt tv and no dvd player. No clock/radio by bed. No electric blanket. No frypan for breakfast...bacon and eggs just aint the same in a wok. Threat of $50 surcharge if we left dirty dishes behind. Threat of $100 surcharge if cooking smells of seafood or curry left.

The prices are very reasonable and the attention to detail is impressive. The location is ideal, not far from the local supermarket and conveniently located on the main road. The staff provide excellent service and are always friendly and helpful. The basic amenities are well-maintained and the rooms are tidy, with newly renovated bathrooms and comfortable double beds. The breakfast options are delicious and satisfying.

The noise from the busy road traffic outside was pretty loud throughout the evening and early morning, which made it tough for a romantic escape. the room itself was quite dated and could use some renovations.
